What’s so special about fresh hops?
Fresh hops don’t last long so brewers only have a short window during harvesting season to experiment with them. NZ Hops are usually harvested at the beginning of Autumn so you’ll notice ‘Fresh Hop’ beers hitting shelves in April.
Often flown in within a few hours of harvesting from the heart of NZ’s hop growing region, Nelson, brewers will use fresh hops to create different flavour profiles and beers with an extra kick! If you’re a fan of fruity, citrusy and aromatic beers, then you’ll want to get your hands on some!
Drink while fresh!
